Redness & rosacea

Calming without covering up

Heat, discomfort, vessels drawing themselves under the skin. Chronic redness is not inevitable. It has a name, precise mechanisms and suitable medical answers. At Skincare Agency, we always begin by understanding before treating.

Our approach

Reactive skin, a bespoke approach

Facial redness affects millions of people, but it does not always take the same form. Background erythrosis, established telangiectasia, inflammatory rosacea: each profile calls for a different clinical reading. Treating without assessing means missing the target. Our protocol always starts from a precise assessment. We map, identify the mechanisms and adapt the technologies. No standard session. A programme designed for your skin.

  1. 01

    Assess

The VISIA assessment shows the superficial vessels and gauges the extent of the redness in depth. It is the starting point of any serious protocol.

  2. 02

    Treat precisely

Laser technologies act directly on the vascular mechanisms, without stressing the surrounding tissue. The intensity is calibrated session after session.

  3. 03

    Consolidate over time

Redness tends to come back. The maintenance protocol, paired with a suitable cosmetic routine, extends the results and reduces the frequency of flare-ups.

Skin with visible capillaries is not fragile skin. It is reactive skin, which calls for an accurate reading and calibrated gestures.

Erythrosis

When the skin is permanently red

Erythrosis affects every phototype. It worsens over time if it is not addressed. Harmony laser sessions combined with skin-strengthening treatments significantly reduce the underlying redness and restore the comfort of the skin.

What triggers redness

General inflammation in the body, sauna, steam room, alcohol, spices, temperature swings, sun exposure, stress, an overly aggressive cosmetic routine. Those factors do not create erythrosis, but they sustain and worsen it. Identifying your own triggers is an integral part of the protocol. We also guide every patient on the daily habits to adjust.

Background treatment or targeted session?

For erythrosis, we work as a background protocol. The Harmony laser sweeps the entire surface of the skin, session after session, to reduce overall vascular density. Medical LED reinforces the anti-inflammatory effect between sessions. The results settle in gradually, with no social downtime, but a daily cosmetic routine is essential.

Your skin deserves a precise answer

Chronic redness does soften. With the right protocol, the right devices and serious medical follow-up, the difference shows from the first sessions. The first step is an assessment.

Rosacea

Visible vessels, weakened skin

Telangiectasia and rosacea evolve in flare-ups. They do not disappear without treatment, and they worsen over the years, degrading your skin texture. Laser technologies today can clear visible vessels and lastingly reduce underlying redness, with protocols suited to each stage.

The stages of rosacea

Rosacea evolves in several phases. Transient flushing precedes permanent erythema, which precedes the appearance of telangiectasia. In advanced forms, inflammatory papules are added. Identifying the stage allows the right approach to be chosen and avoids worsening skin that is already weakened.

Why the laser works

Laser and IPL technologies target the oxyhaemoglobin in the vessels. The heat produced coagulates the vessel, which is then resorbed naturally by the body. The result is gradual but lasting. Within a few sessions, the visible capillaries fade and the tone evens out.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Telangiectasia, what the French call couperose, specifically refers to the small dilated capillaries visible under the skin. Rosacea is a broader condition that can include those vessels, but also permanent redness, hot flushes and even inflammatory papules. Both can be treated, with protocols suited to each form.
