Radiesse® Facial injection

PERSONALIZED SUPPORT FOR YOUR RADIESSE INJECTIONS?

Your Personal Beautician will welcome you and perform a facial examination using the VISIA 7 scanner technology. These results will then be communicated to our dermatologists for further analysis. Then, these results will be communicated to our doctor specializing in facial treatments for analysis.

You will have a medical consultation with the doctor to complete a morphological assessment of your face. This assessment allows us to determine the future areas to be filled, always in consultation with the patient, according to the expected effects and the desired results. Our cosmetic dermatologist also ensures that there are no contraindications to injections or filler implants. they will also ask you about past injection experiences and conduct a medical examination of your skin. He carries out a medical examination of your skin.

Pictures are taken and an estimate is given to the patient detailing the type of treatment, products used and prices.

Every Radiesse® injection session begins with careful makeup removal and disinfection of the injected area. On the day of the injection, an anesthetic cream may be applied at the patient’s request for added comfort.

The procedure is performed using cannulas to inject Radiesse® to minimize pain and possible side effects.

The doctor will mark the injection sites on your face with a marker and ask you to make certain facial expressions so they can see your expressions. After the injection session, you will have a 20-minute LED session to calm the skin and minimize side effects.

After the injection, in rare cases, bruises may appear. These bruises are located at the entry points of the cannula and a slight edema may be noted. The doctor may prescribe a treatment to limit or reduce them. They will disappear after a few days. Radiesse will not result in any side effects that would encourage you to stay inside.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF RADIESSE® INJECTION?

Because of its high viscosity and elasticity, Radiesse® is used primarily for two main purposes: filling hollow wrinkles and restoring volume.

Radiesse® is perfect for reshaping a sagging jawline or for filling deep wrinkles, the corners of the mouth, dark circles, and nasolabial folds, as well as facial depressions on the nose or chin.

Our medical team considers this product to be an ideal treatment to complement a Botox injection or hyaluronic acid injection to enhance a face.

Answers to your questions about Radiesse injections

  • How does Radiesse work?
  • Radiesse is a collagen inducer. When the body metabolizes the injected calcium hydroxylapatite, it will stimulate collagen production and fibroblasts (young cells) will appear. Peak collagen production will be reached after 3 months.

  • How do you improve the jawline?
  • The sagging jawline is the result of sagging skin caused by a decrease in collagen. To treat this, Radiesse injections performed on the mandibles will reactivate collagen and fibroblast production and tighten the skin.

  • What are the contraindications for a Radiesse injection?
  • As a precaution, this type of treatment should be avoided during pregnancy. Injections are also strongly discouraged when there are infections in the treatment area such as acne or any inflammatory or autoimmune disease. However, please note that there is no risk of rejection or allergy with this filling implant.

  • Is it possible to combine several treatments with a Radiesse injection?
  • In most cases, our expert physician will suggest combining Radiesse with either hyaluronic acid or botulinum toxin (Botox). In treatments to reshape the jawline or treat dark circles around the eyes, the combination of these different molecules, which have specific and complementary actions, will produce more effective and, above all, longer-lasting results.

  • How long does an injection session last?
  • In our center, the average length of an injection session is one hour. Our doctors make sure that each step of the treatment takes place in the best conditions, and that you are relaxed and comfortable.
