WHAT IS THE MORPHEUS TREATMENT?

Morpheus is a state-of-the-art technology that combines fractional radiofrequency and microneedling to tighten the skin and restore a healthy epidermis.

The combination of fractional radiofrequency and microneedling means that Morpheus 8 can treat both sagging skin and blemishes.

During a Morpheus8 treatment, the microneedles create micro abrasions in the target areas, which stimulate collagen production and significantly reduce the appearance of wrinkles. Once the microneedles penetrate the skin, they emit radiofrequency waves that penetrate deeper layers of the skin, causing the underlying fat and skin to tighten.

This is a key difference between traditional microneedling and Morpheus, as Morpheus is able to modify the skin at a deeper level with the addition of radiofrequency.

Then, the treatment protocol always begins with a careful cleaning of the area to be treated.

An anesthetic cream is applied locally to make the treatment more comfortable. The doctor will then target the specific areas that require treatment. This treatment is custom-made with needles that can range from 1 to 8 mm in depth. This specificity allows us to focus on specific areas such as stretch marks, scars, or particularly slack skin.

The duration of a session is 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the area that our doctors have chosen to treat.

  • How long do I have to wait before I see results?

    • Results improve gradually in the weeks following the procedure, reaching their peak about three weeks after the treatment as the body produces collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid. But they are visible the next day, when the redness and bruising have disappeared.

  • Is a social eviction necessary?

    • Following the session, the skin may show some redness and slight swelling. However, these effects disappear in the following hours and do not require that you avoid being in public. Our doctors strongly recommend that you avoid direct sunlight and apply an SPF 50 cream.

  • How many sessions should I have?

    • For a the best results, a minimum of 3 sessions on the same area are recommended.

    Each session lasts 30 to 60 minutes.
