Cryolipolysis of the face

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF CRYOLIPOLYSIS UNDER THE CHIN?

Cryolipolysis is only recommended for fat under the chin or double chin. It cannot be used for any other area of the face such as the cheeks for example. In a maximum of 3 sessions, the jawline can become refined, more graceful, making the skin tighter and firmer.

Sometimes the size of the fatty mass is not sufficient to be sucked up by the machine. Before freezing the cells, the machine has to suck up the fatty mass in order to concentrate the effect of the cold in this area.

In this case, aesthetic medicine offers an alternative: radiofrequency and ultrasound, the Accent Prime technology.

The double chin is an accumulation of fat under the skin of the chin that affects all genders. This accumulation of fat can be caused by a diet that is too fatty or too sweet, hormonal disorders or genetics.

This appearance is unsightly because it weighs down the facial features and gives a negative expression. Unfortunately, they do not go away despite physical activity or following a diet once established. It is therefore necessary to use these non-invasive and effective aesthetic medicine techniques.

PERSONALIZED SUPPORT FOR SUCCESSFUL CRYOLIPOLYSIS ON THE JAWLINE

First of all, you will be greeted by your Personal Beautician who will perform a skin diagnosis.

The VISIA 7 technology scans your face to evaluate its characteristics and determine, for example, in the context of jawline cryolipolysis, the area where the fatty deposits are located. This examination will then be transmitted to our cosmetic dermatologist and morphologist who will determine if cryolipolysis is a viable option.

Before each session, a series of pictures is taken so that you, and our team, can follow the evolution of the treatment.

The doctor will mark the areas to be targeted with a white pencil in order to properly position the machine’s suction applicators. The clusters will be sucked up and cooled to -5/-7 degrees according to the doctor’s instructions.

The cold coupled with the pressure of the suction triggers a crystallization of the fat. At the end of the session, the bulge is released. It is then necessary to massage the area for about ten minutes to break up the fat and warm up the skin.

The freezing session lasts 35 minutes so that the process takes effect and leads to the degradation of the fat cells. These are naturally eliminated in the following weeks. A 30-minute LED session relieves the skin and soothes the treated area.

Answers to your questions about facial cryolipolysis

  • What are the results of Cryolipolysis on the double chin?
  • This treatment makes the double chin disappear and destroys fat cells in a permanently. It is the ideal treatment for reshaping the jawline and slimming the chin.

  • What are the side effects of cryolipolysis?
  • There may be effects such as redness, bruising and small swellings that are sometimes painful. They may last a few days but are not so bad that you need to remain at home. Subcutaneous pain, similar to aches and pains, reflects the success of the treatment. They are caused by the deterioration of the fat cells, which means that the tissues are working.

  • What treatments can be combined with Cryolipolysis?
  • This treatment is ideally combined with radiofrequency and ultrasound technologies. The Accent Prime technology allows the area to be drained and the skin to be tightened after the fat has melted. It is often recommended to complete these procedures with injections of Radiesse or hyaluronic acid to obtain a perfect jawline.

  • Is the Cryolipolysis treatment painful?
  • Cryolipolysis is not considered a painful treatment in its entirety, but depending on the sensitivity of certain patients, discomfort may be felt when the applicator is applied. Then, during the treatment, nothing is felt. It is during the post-treatment massage that a moderate pain caused by the effect of the hot/cold may be a little uncomfortable for a few minutes.

  • What are the contraindications of a submental cryolipolysis treatment?
  • The main contraindications are:

    – A known allergy to cold,
    – The presence of a scar on the treated area,
    – Cryoglobulinemia or paroxysmal cold hemoglobinuria,
    – Marked progeria or retrogenia,
    – A sagging of the area without adipose fat,
    – Known sensitivity to cold such as cold urticaria or Raynaud’s syndrome,
    – Peripheral cardiovascular disorders in the area to be treated,
    – Neuropathological disorders such as post-herpetic neuralgia or diabetic neuropathy,
    – Coagulation disorders or concomitant use of anticoagulants,
    – Skin problems such as eczema, dermatitis, rashes,
    – Any active implantable device such as pacemakers and defibrillators,
    – Pregnancy.

  • What are the risks of a cryolipolysis treatment?
  • The risks listed on this subject are risks of burns, frostbite, or paradoxical hyperplasia. These are very rare cases, but they underline the importance of receiving this treatment only from qualified physicians who will reduce risks by performing a preliminary consultation, regular monitoring during the session, and by determining the parameters. Our technology allows us to control the temperature and pressure of the applicators in real time.
